CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

 

First of all, good news - all of our classes are good for all levels!

This means that you can take any class because our teachers are amazing and will help the class with options and modifications. If you do have conditions and/or injuries we suggest coming early to talk with the teacher. 

We also suggest bringing your own: water bottle, yoga mat (for Bootcamp and Yoga style classes), and an open mind! These classes were chosen and designed to help you feel strong, healthy and confident in the studio and throughout your day! Any questions just let us know.

Vinyasa

Vinyasa is a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath - commonly referred to as “flow” yoga. Vinyasa is a wonderful form of yoga that provides you with a great workout, a chance to stretch out tight muscles, and includes a focus on the mind/body connection and meditation. Every Vinyasa class is different and we encourage you to take at least 1 yoga class a week and this is a great one to rely on!

Power Yoga

Power yoga is a general term used to describe a vigorous, fitness-based approach to vinyasa-style yoga. Power yoga incorporates the athleticism of Ashtanga, including lots of Vinyasa's (series of poses done in sequence) but gives each teacher the flexibility to teach any poses in any order, making every class different.

Bootcamp

The bootcamp workout consists of cardiovascular conditioning (jogging and plyometrics), strength training (weights, stability balls, resistance bands, medicine balls, Glides, kettlebells) and stretching. The coaches vary the exercises and format for every workout so no two boot camp sessions are the same but you will always leave feeling stronger and accomplished.

 

Cycle: Ignite

Party on a bike?! What? Hell yes! These classes will have you riding to the beat of your favorite party and dance songs. Plus to give you an added bonus you'll have 1 song where you will challenge your upper body with small weights (totally optional if that's not your jam). Don't worry - this class is great for all levels and will give everyone the challenge they need to put a smile on their face and a swagger in their step.

 

Cycle: Hustle

Join us for an indoor cycling class that is a little more hustle and a little less choreography, don't worry though - it will still be fun, challenging, and go by quickly! Plus our bada$$ instructors will keep you moving in, and out of your seat with bumpin' music and tons of energy. You will sweat, you will work, and you will feel ah-mazing as a result.  

 

Yoga Sculpt

High intensity, music drivin, yoga-inspired, butt-kicking workout! Yoga sculpt combines traditional vinyasa yoga postures with the added challenge of free weights. Stretch, tone, and balance all in one class, with the calming finish of a savasana.

 

Buti Yoga

Buti Yoga is a unique yoga practice, known for it’s cardio-intensive bursts of tribal dance, primal movement, strength and conditioning. It’s designed to offer a calorie-scorching, body-sculpting, and dynamic yoga practice that is so much fun (imagine upbeat music and high five-ing during a yoga class). After every class you will be empowered to jump back into life with more confidence and a huge smile!

 

Gentle Yoga

In a safe, effective, compassionate, non-competitive environment that is welcoming to all, Gentle yoga classes are appropriate for those who want a softer, nurturing, slow-paced, well-supported and relaxing practice. This is also a wonderful practice to counter more intense training as it provides a wonderful stretch and meditative space.

 

Flow & Restore Yoga

A great way to unwind, stretch and rejuvenate the body and mind. You’ll be guided through a sequence of deep stretches, free-flowing poses and breath work aimed at enhancing flexibility, relieving any tension or stress and relaxing the mind. A restorative yoga sequence typically involves poses supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. 

 

Restorative Yoga Nidra 

A calming restorative yoga class that ends with a guided yoga nidra. Nidra, meaning sleep, is a deep relaxation form of yoga, and a technique to awaken the connection between body, mind, and soul. This is a wonderful class to help you unwind, de-stress and totally relax. You will leave feeling lighter physically and mentally!

 

Yoga Fusion

A mix of traditional yoga poses incorporated with strength, cardio, and core segments. This blending of techniques focuses on combining mind and body exercises with the benefits of strength, aerobics, balance and flexibility.

 

High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)

HIIT exercise sessions consist of a warm-up period, then several repetitions of high-intensity exercise separated by medium intensity exercise for recovery, then a cool down period. The high-intensity exercise should be done at near maximum intensity (depending on your body). The number of repetitions and length of each depends on the exercise, but may be as little as 3 reps with just 20 seconds of intense exercise. The idea of this class is to work really hard for short time periods, rest and repeat! 

Pilates

Pilates is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and endurance movements. Pilates emphasizes proper postural alignment, breath-work, core strength and muscle balance. Pilates is named for its creator, Joseph Pilates, who developed the exercises in the 1920s.

Barre

Barre fitness is a hybrid workout class - combining ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and strength training. Our classes incorporate a ballet barre and use classic dance moves such as plies, alongside static stretches and the use of light weights. Barre focuses on high reps of small range movements so come prepared to feel (and love) the burn.

 

Cardio Barre

Similar to our regular barre classes, Cardio Barre offers a music-driven, low impact, high energy workout incorporating light weights and controlled movements. We also add in fun Cardio movements (like Jumping Jacks) but we always offer low-impact options as well. This is still a great class for all levels and you will get a killer workout!

KickIt By Eliza

High-intensity interval training consisting of 13 rounds of kickboxing, boxing with rhythmic components, finished with a meditative cooldown. This is a fun, upbeat workout that will boost your confidence and help you feel more empowered in the studio and in your every day life! All levels welcome.

 

Boss Chick Dance Workout

The Boss Chick Dance Workout is a high-intensity hip hop, dance hall, afrobeats fusion twerkout that will have you poppin, lockin, and droppin your way to a bangin' healthy body. The class features dance cardio set to the hottest beats of hip-hop, dancehall, and afrobeats. In addition to discovering your inner-Beyonce you will be sculpting your abs, arms, legs, and booty for a complete full body workout! Come prepared to sweat and dance like never before and burn up to 1000+ calories! 

Zumba

A total body workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class. Mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves, inspired by Latin and international music, for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party.

Great for all levels!

 

Strong by Zumba®

STRONG by Zumba® combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training moves synced to original music that has been specifically designed to match every single move.

Interested in trying a class but a little nervous?! It's okay we've all been there.

We suggest you: come early, introduce yourself to the instructor, and give it a try!

You will always be supported and encouraged in our classes, never pushed too far or made to feel out of place.

We love having newbies in classes and appreciate when YOU try something new!
